New Year's resolutions

The past many years I have not had any resolutions.  Mainly because I feel I should be working on myself all the time, not just at new year's and also because I get so down on myself if I don't accomplish something.  Generally I would write a lot of goals that were hard for me to accomplish so I would just quit because I was overwhelmed.

For some reason this year feels different.  I am determined to change some things.  If I write them down and put them where I will see them I am hoping this will make a difference in my accomplishing at least part of them.

1.  Read scriptures and pray daily.  Notice I have not set a time limit on the scriptures.  I hope to study them, but if I only get 1 verse, I will feel accomplished.
2.  Family history at least 1 hour per week.
3.  Declutter the house and dejunk (this will take all year)
4.  Run 1000 miles.  At least 3 half marathons, hoping for 1 per quarter.  My first one is scheduled for February 22nd.  Bryce Canyon in July and hopefully Little Grand Canyon, Cedar City or Halloween Half in Sept/Oct as well as Fish Lake Relay in August.
5.  Journal or blog at least once a week.
6.  Save at least $20.00 per month.  This sounds little, but I've never been a saver so gonna start small.
7.  Add 1 item per month minimum to food storage.
8.  I'd like to say I'm swearing of candy and sweets, but that is just realistic.  I can't even do it 1 day.  So, instead, I will try to make more healthy meals for my family and hopefully eat more raw foods.
9.  Read at least 1 book a month.
10.  Attend the temple once a month.

I could go on and on in ways to improve, but before I overwhelm myself, I'm gonna stop.  Feel free to share your resolutions too.
